We visited the restaurant for lunch in the beginning of December and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is very cozy with a unique atmosphere and at the time of our visit very peaceful with no other customers. They offer traditional jewish food alongside other options. Everything was very delicious.
A nice hotel on the verge of the old Jewish area. Plenty of light and charging ports in our room. Geraniums of the window ledge. Fantastic breakfast spread. Ideally located to Krakow's hot spots.
We had delicious and authentic Jewish cuisine. Everything felt homemade. I highly recommend the stuffed goose necks.
The ambience was really cosy and quiet. We actually wanted to listen to the music but weren't told that it was in a different dining room, so we completely missed out on that. Staff were helpful and friendly with translations and explanations. Food is more expensive than other restaurants in the area when considering portion sizes and especially without the live music.
Highly overpriced restaurant. Some dishes are good, some just mediocre, portions are small while the quality is not accodingly. So you get similar quality as in surrounding restaurants for 50% higher price, which could be justified by the particularly nice dining room. However getting starter portions for main dishes is not justified.
Restaurant offers good traditional food and similarly traditional entertainment. Tasty & enjoyable. Rooms are fair value but some have separate/external but private bathrooms.
Servicing of rooms & bathroom was somewhat perfunctory, e.g. beds not made up each day. Fine & clean on arrival, though.
We only visited to use the Restaurant, but the menu was varied and the surroundings quaint. The food was good and reasonably priced. Worth seeking out for the experience, plus they have music most evenings for which there is a fee.
We loved the hotel & its restaurant (note: we had there only breakfast inc in the price - which was amazing!). The ambience is very cosy and welcoming, place filled with books! (there is a publisher in the same building), everything kept in old polish decor which we loved, felt like time-travel for these couple of days. Rooms very private, basic and very clean, we slept there very good & it was quiet.
Location is spot on, centre of cool vibrant Krakow area, full of bars and restaurants, close to the Krakow Old Market Square.
Staff was lovely and friendly. Truly happy wit this, we def will be back!
I stayed here with a friend and we agreed that the place felt like staying at our grandmas home - if grandma and grandpa also hosted literary meetings and klezmer concerts - with the antique furniture and lacy table clothes and the yummy …
